About Ari

Ariana is smart, beautiful and funny!

About Chava

Chava has all the "typical" characteristics of a first-born.  She's smart, a rule follower, people pleaser, energetic, ambitious, and a natural leader.  Chava will help me clean and she loves to help me cook.  Her imagination play is fantastic.  She loves to pretend that she's a teacher, dance instructor, or parent.  Ariana will often follow her big sister's lead.  Although Chava gets frustrated with Ari because she doesn't always follow the rules, they play very well together.  I'm so thankful that they are so close in age and so they will always support one another.

Chava can count to 100+ (with very little assistance).  Chava can write her letters and she is learning to write words.  She has been writing her name for some time.

In the words of Chava, "I am a rockstar."

Baby Shai Shai

Oh my goodness, Oh my goodness...this sweet little baby is growing up so fast!  She's sitting up, drinking water from a sippy, picking up food (with more coordination), waiving bye bye, and clapping (her version).  Oh!  And, she gives kisses.  I could just eat this girl up!

Shai gets so much love and attention from her sisters.  I can see already that they will all have a strong bond with each other.  It's just so amazing to witness!

Shai is one week shy of 8 months.  Ariana asks daily if it's her birthday yet (she is 3 months away from turning 3).  And, Chava just turned 4 a few weeks ago.  Our household is very busy busy busy, but Josh and I wouldn't change a thing.  <3

Chava

Every day I find that my little Chavala is growing up; becoming more and more beautiful and so very smart. She can spell and write her own name. She can spell the names of her friends at school and she is becoming quite the artist. It was less than a month ago when she presented Josh and I with her first discernible picture...a cat.

When she colors she likes to press hard on the crayons to make the colors vibrant. She fancies rainbows and making images with alternating colors.

She received a Barnes & Noble gift card from Grandma and Papa. And, going to B&N has been one of her favorite activities with her daddy since she was learning to walk. But, I was completely shocked by the purchase she made with her gift card the other day....a large 8x10 plain paper notebook! She carries this book and a pen around with her! She doesn't draw or scribble in it...she "writes". Letters outside of those not found in her name have not made an appearance yet, but she is making small markings in a line as if she is writing sentences. I look at her and I can only imagine that this is what "little Josh" must've been like. And, when she sits and writes in her book she looks so grown up...and I am so proud of who she is that I could cry of happiness. Thank you Chava...for being you.
